The risk of sexual abuse has increased for some children during lockdown. But there’s lots you can do to help prevent this.
Since 2002, the confidential Stop It Now! helpline has been a safe space for anyone to discuss their worries about child sexual abuse and its prevention. Our experienced advisors don’t judge and provide actions to keep children safe – last year, we supported over 5,000 people through our confidential helpline and messaging service. It’s vital that we all know what we can do to help keep children safe.
We provide support to anyone worried about a child or adult’s inappropriate behaviour, advice on when to have a tricky conversation about private parts and touch, or help to people who want to know more about online safety.
