Easter Eggstravaganza

Sat, April 3, 11:00am-12:30pm

Easter is for kids! No doubt! With the pandemic going on, it is stifling for the kids to sit at home even during festivities. This virtual event is a good chance for them to join the fun and enjoy the Easter. Kids ages 5-13 can join the event for games, activities and the story of Easter on April 3rd. Activity Kits are $5 and are available for pick up. It will contain craft and snack supplies. Parents can sign up their kids for this event which will be a wonderful gift for them for the Easter. The event will be hosted by The Family Life Centre.

Easter Bake Along with the Cool Food School

Thu, 1 April and 8 April, 3PM- 4.30PM

Learn to bake sweet Easter treats on this fun virtual event. Kids aged 7 and above can join the event for a fun-filled cooking lesson. The focus will be on healthy but delicious treats for Easter. Recipes will be sent in advance after your registration. All you need to participate is a PC, Mac or smart device with a mic and webcam and a broadband connection. Ballyroan Library is the organiser of this free event.

Visit from the Easter Bunny

April 2 – April 3

The Easter Bunny is making home visits! This exciting event offers a Bunny Meet & Greet where children can say hello, receive an Easter Basket containing 1 dozen filled Easter Eggs and have an opportunity to take pictures with the Bunny. The total visit time is approximately 5-12 minutes. There will be a Mini Egg Hunt where children may be able to “catch” the Bunny hiding 1 dozen filled eggs. Visits are available for locations in Englewood, Leonia, Teaneck, Bergenfield, Fort Lee, Englewood Cliffs and Edgewater in US. Visits must be paid for in advance via Venmo or Paypal.

Easter Crafts

Sat, 3 April, 2pm

There is a spiritual side to the Easter too! You can join Rev. Andrew Raynes on Zoom for some spiritual enlightenment, family fun to make crafts together and hear what Easter is all about. There will be fun crafts, a child-friendly talk about Easter and some singing. Everything you need to join in with the crafts will be delivered to your home a few days before the event in a Covid-19 safe way. Instructions will be given on Zoom so that all the participants can do crafts together. This free event is perfect for the families with children aged 3-11yrs.

Easter Eggheads Quiz

Mon, 5 April, 6pm- 7.30pm

Want to do some charity this Easter? Join Sam Killick on this online Easter themed quiz event to help raise money towards a volunteering project with Think Pacific in the summer of 2021. You can test your Easter related knowledge and win some fun prizes along the way! The Quiz will take place through Google Meet. You have to book your place on Eventbrite by acquiring a ticket for the event by giving a charitable donation, no matter how big or small every donation will make a huge difference.
