The Vengaboys to Play at Newcastle Pride

Dutch Eurodance group The Vengaboys are set to appear on stage as part of Newcastle Pride. Organisers Geordiemoor have announced that they will be hosting three evening concerts featuring well known acts for the LGBT festival attendees.
The Vengaboys are best known for hits such as “We Like to Party”, “Boom Boom Boom Boom” and “We’re Going to Ibiza”. They will be accompanied on the stage on the evening of 20 July by another act that is yet to be announced.
This concert in particular will act as a opening event for Newcastle Pride which will be taking place from 20 – 22 July.
This series of concerts, which will be held at the Newcastle Pride tent after the day’s programming has ended, have been organised independently to Newcastle Pride but will in no way disrupt the festival’s usual programming but will enhance its attractiveness and popularity.

“I am delighted that Geordiemoor have bought the use of the space in the evenings to provide these amazing concerts,” says Stephen Willis, the Festival director.
“Because Newcastle Pride wraps up at the Nuns Moor Park site at 6pm, it meant that the tent was going to be standing vacant in the evenings which seemed like such a waste.”
Parts of the proceeding from ticket sales will go to the LGBT charity Northern Pride to ensure that the annual event remains free to attend.

You can get your tickets to the launch event of Newscastle Pride at geordiemoor.co.uk. The rest of the acts that are still to be announced for the 19 and 21 July will also be named on the website.
