Tasty Tuesday: How to make Korean Spicy Dak Galbi 닭갈비!

Dak Galbi, a Korean Spicy meat stir fry is one of the trendy Asian dishes out there. Popular to eat out in restaurants, now you can have this Chuncheon style dak galbi at home with this simple recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of Chicken meat sliced in cubes (You can substitute with soya meat or Seitan)
  • 6 tablespoon Gochujang sauce
  • 2 tablespoon of Soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 2 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup onion leave
  • 1 cup cabbage (diced)
  • 1 cup of Rice cake
  • 2 packets of ramen
  • mozzarella cheese

Method:

  • First marinate your choice of meat with gochujang, salt, pepper, garlic paste, paprika, and soya sauce.
  • Set aside for a night or half a day.
  • Then in a pan heat some oil and add the onions and cabbage. Add the marinated meat and stir till it comes to a boil.
  • Once the meat is cooked, add your boiled ramen and rice cakes to the pan. Put the onion leaves and stir.
  • Finally, add mozzarella cheese on top and serve it on the pan.
  • You can also add rice to the leftover Dak galbi for creating variations.
