Tasty @CafeOn Stir-Fried Mushrooms

This recipe can act as both snack and an appetizer. Mushroom is high in water content and is very effective for our heart. It helps in strengthening the digestive system as well as is very helpful for healthy skin. Mushrooms are the wonder ingredient. It is a staple for vegans as well as vegetarians. Without further ado, let us get to the recipe.


Ingredients:


• 1 cup of mushrooms (white or brown, portobello mushrooms are also a good option)
• 2 teaspoons of soya sauce (dark preferable)
• 2-3 teaspoons of olive oil and butter
• 1 spring of fresh thyme or rosemary (dried rosemary or thyme will also do, or a mix of both)
• 4-5 cloves of garlic minced
• Sliced red and green chilies
• A pinch of black pepper powder
• A pinch of salt (if required)
• Spring onions or Chives for garnish

Instructions:


• Wash the mushrooms thoroughly before using them. Cut them into pieces and keep them aside.
• Heat the pan with olive oil and butter. You can prepare the whole recipe with olive oil or with butter. A mix of two is also fine as mentioned in this recipe.
• Keep the flame on low and add the minced garlic and chilies.
• Saute it for a minute or two till the raw smell of the garlic vanishes.
• Add the mushrooms to the pan and put the flame to high. (Mushroom has high water content if the gas is on medium or low the mushroom will start leaving water)
• Add the soya sauce, black pepper, and herbs either fresh or dried, and saute all of it for a minute or two.
• Add a pinch of salt if required.
• Let it sear for some minutes, and continue till the mushrooms are fried yet the crunch is not gone.
• Add chives or spring onions and give one last stir.
• Remove it from the pan and serve hot.
• Add some chives or spring onions for garnish as well.
Stir-Fried Mushrooms are ready. Enjoy.
