System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian announces new virtual exhibition

Serj Tankian of System Of A Down has revealed Not For Touching – The Intangible Composition, a new virtual installation. Various simulated spaces, large-scale animated graphics from visual effects artist Roger Kupelian (The Lord Of The Rings), and original music composed by Tankian will also be included in the collection.

In an interview Tankian exposed that he got into painting “to see my music”. He went on to say:

 “By adding musical compositions to art, we’ve created a more powerful encompassing experience for lovers of art and music”.

According to a tweet from Tankian, the collection includes 21 pieces of work spanning “mergers of art, music, digital paintings, and animation.”

According to a press statement, Tankian and CurioNFT use a lazy forging approach to counterbalance the show’s environmental impact, which cuts carbon emissions by only two percent of what they regularly create – around 17 percent. attachments to emails.

Tankian and CurioNFT both stated that 10% of all sales would be donated. Armenia, Lebanon, France, Russia, Germany, and Albania are all part of TUMO, a free education initiative. The virtual exhibition was announced a month after Serge Tankian’s death. Because the COVID-19 test came back positive, System Of A Down had to postpone two gigs in Los Angeles until February 2022.

Following his positive diagnosis, Tankian took to social media, claiming he was “glad to be vaccinated alongside my grandparents” and that “I believe the vaccine has helped minimize my symptoms and suffering.”

The show will open on December 6th, according to the press announcement. Several exclusive NFTs with signed giclee editions, four sets of one of 25 NFTs with signed giclee editions, and four sets of one of 100 NFT editions are available in the collection.
