Ozzy Osbourne announces ‘No More Tears’ reissue for 30th anniversary

The release will arrive on September 17 via Sony and will feature 12 new rare tracks appearing on streaming services for the first time.

Ozzy Osbourne is to release a 30th-anniversary reissue of his 1991 solo album, ‘No More Tears’.

‘No More Tears’ reissue will be available as both an upgraded digital release and an LP edition. It will come as a two-disc set on black vinyl and as a Tower exclusive on heavyweight red and yellow vinyl with a special photo booklet, the latter of which can be pre-ordered here.

Osbourne Considered No More Tears was “one of my favorite albums to make”. He said in a statement. “I have a lot of great memories of making the album.” It’s so nice when you get a producer who’s more like a part of the band than them saying, ’Nah, you do it this way.’

On its release in 1991, No More Tears recorded four top ten singles on the Billboard Rock Tracks chart. Mama, I’m Coming Home, Road To Nowhere, Time After Time and the title track was on the album co-written with Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister. “Mama, I’m Coming Home”, was the album’s biggest hit has gone on to become not only a rock anthem but a classic song among soldiers.

OZZY notes:

“At that time, a lot of people were going to Iraq war,”

“We heard that the GIs were sending that song to their wives. Soldiers still love that song.”

No More Tears also made number 17 on the UK Albums Chart, number seven on the US Billboard 200 albums list, and is now certified quadruple platinum.
