Chris Cleverley – showcases bold new electronic sound with otherworldly new single ‘Nausea’!

UK dream folk artist, yes you read that part correctly dream folk is the genre, Chris Cleverley has created his latest new single nausea. Straight from the intro, Nausea has very dark yet subtle tones in that it’s one of those songs which goes into somber and dark territory yet without fully submerging itself. When we listen to Chris’s singing voice it echoes that of Billie Eilish and some of Adele, and his voice instantly grabs your ear without having to be forceful.

When you listen to the lyrics and hear the sounds of the music you can tell how witty and creative Chris has been putting this together. What he has done is created an emotional type of Sonisphere in which he is used to reaching out to those on a similar wavelength. The irony of this is it’s the artist’s way of saying to you “I feel your depression and pain and understand it too, and desire to find your sense of self-worth”

Evocative electronic gorgeousness in Hannah Schneider’s – ‘The World’s Gone Still Now’

Musician, the singer, and songwriter, Hannah Schneider, has released the official music video for her single The World’s Gone Still Now. The video itself has a nostalgic type of feel to it and is a creative mix of still images and old film reels of aerial photos of the New York City skyline and from on the ground, car journeys, and deserted beaches. Though Hannah herself makes no appearance you can still hear her voice seep through. This is where are the genius probably comes into its own as it acts as a metaphor for the name of the song. From the ground, everything in time just runs at a manic pace, whereas from the skies it is as though our time itself has slowed down to a halt

The videos for the song which comes from her latest album Ocean Letters Hannah prove that not only can she hold her own, but just had good she’s at doing it as well. Written and produced during the Covid-19 lockdown, Hannah shows at peace and Tranquillity can be found even in the most manic of moments

SOHODOLLS – release video for divorce anthem ‘Letter To My Ex (Thank You, Goodbye)’

Remember the single that Soho dolls released a couple of months ago? Letter To My Ex (Thank You, Goodbye), well here is the video for that song. As far as videos go there’s a good deal of location usage which actually suits the mood of the song. For a band that has been out of the limelight for just over a decade, you can see by the song and the video that they are getting their groove back

One thing that is clear is that the band members know how to make use of space. There’s almost something very fashion shoot about the way the band composes themselves in the video

The video was directed by Ginevra Gentili of North Harley Films and choreographed by Kelsey Ellison.
