Lasse Matthiessen – unveils wicked visuals for ‘Dreams Don’t Make Noise’

Danish singer/songwriter Lasse Matthiessen has released his official music video for his song Dreams Don’t Make Noise and it’s got that video diary look to it. In terms of the creative concept behind it it’s in a similar vein to Lily Allen, Scouting for Girls and Sam Fender. The basics of it is that you have Matthiessen in various locations singing to himself and occasionally looking into the camera

Now what’s clever behind the creative idea about it is that, apart from showing that you don’t have to blow masses of cash at it, it’s a day-in-the-life vibe to it. The video has the intimate approach as we mainly follow a single person

Omar Souleman – Warni Warni

The new single from Arabian singer, Omar Souleman, and is a love song the word a slightly more poetic and personal Edge. Having already been on the Arabian that music scene for over two decades Omar has already made a name for himself as potential household name in his native Arabia. His new single Warni Warni is about describing the feeling of love and affection that one person that you know you want to be with

As a songwriter, Omar, certainly isn’t shying away from wearing his heart on his sleeve has he described as innermost thoughts and feelings. Ironically, it’s always the love songs that touch upon the most deepest feelings that seem to resonate the most with people; Sinead O’Connor, Adele as well as one-time pop star Adam Rickett when he did Breathe

“You’re for me like the water and the air that I breathe that I cannot survive without”

Bjork – Army of Me

Originally released back in 1995 Bjork wrote and produced the song when she was inspired to write a personal experience of someone close to her. Army of Me shows Bjork at one of her (numerous) finest moments and is about finding the strength to stand your own ground and actually doing things on your own. In some ways it’s about giving someone some much needed tough love.

The bass and guitar sounds provide a solid undertone and Bjork’s singing voice just strikes straight through. Her songwriting, singing ability as well as creative streak comes into its own.

“You’re on your own now, We won’t save you/Your rescue squad Is too exhausted”

The lyrics in some ways can be just as reflective of Bjork and her branching out on her own as it gives about getting someone to stand for themself
