Justin Bieber has released a new song titled ‘Lonely’ on 16th October through his YouTube account, teaming up with co-writers Benny Blanco and Finneas O’Connell. Puza Snigdha reports.
The song is a part of Bieber’s sixth studio album that is co-written with Benny Blanco and Finneas. Before releasing the song Blanco teased about the song on Instagram by posting a series of images.
The music video which is directed by Jake Schreier, features Jacob Tremblay. The music video shows Jacob Tremblay, as young Bieber is exploring an empty theatre. The lyrics of the song tell a story of loneliness despite success. Tremblay dresses up with a white denim jacket and purple hoodie same as Bieber’s 2010 look when he became famous.
“Lonely is out now with @itsbennyblanco. When he and @finneas showed me this song, to be honest it was hard to listen to considering how tough it was to get through some of these chapters,” Bieber wrote.
The track is a follow up of the song “Holy” which was released last month. The song was streamed over 120 million times in its debut week.
