‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel Shares Shoot Location

‘House of The Dragon’ the prequel of the fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones’ has revealed that the shooting will take place at Leavesden Studios in Watford, the same site as Harry Potter.

The show will feature Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen. The plot of the series is 300 years before the events of the HBO series.

The series was set to take place at Belfast, Northern Ireland, where ‘Game of Thrones’ had their most of the shooting.

The shooting will kick start in 2021 and supposed to be release in 2022, but other shooting locations hasn’t been confirmed yet. The show may include Northern Ireland as its shooting location but base will be Leavesden.

House of the Dragon is based on George RR Martin’s companion book “Fire & Blood.” The show will explore the Targaryen civil war, known as the Dance of Dragons.

HBO requires 10 episodes for the first season. Paddy Considine set to play King Viserys I, Lords have chosen Viserys to take the throne but he might not necessarily be the right person to rule.
