Doja Cat cancels ‘Jingle Ball Tour’ as infected with COVID-19

Bad news for Doja Cat’s fan! The singer is infected with Covid-19 ergo she won’t be performing on her iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour.

Doja has personally announced her scheduled dates of iHeartRadio’s ‘Jingle Ball’ tour through North America because she was tested positive for COVID-19.

The musician shared on Twitter that she would be pulling out of the New York and Boston shows over the weekend because some of the members of her production team had been tested positive for coronavirus and would go into quarantine right away. The whole team is now under safety precautions.

‘My spirits are down,’ she wrote in her statement.

Soon after this announcement, the next day twitted once again to reveal her current condition quoting that, she had tested positive herself too and would be canceling the remaining availability from the tour, including shows in Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Miami. Ed Sheeran and the Jonas Brothers performances went ahead as planned in The New York and Boston shows.

For fans’ consolation, she reassured her about her situation that she was “doing OK” and “looking forward to recovering.”

As Christmas and New year is coming, Doja Cat had already performed at three Christmas-themed concerts before contracting the virus in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Chicago alongside Lil Nas X, The Kid LAROI, BTS, and her ‘Best Friend’ collaborator Saweetie.

Doja has contracted COVID-19 for the second time in a row now, with the first infecting in July of 2020 long after she mocked the pandemic at the beginning s of its worldwide spread, quoting she’s “not scared” of it.
