“A Quiet Place Part II” is the much-anticipated sequel to Krasinski’s horror film that introduces its audience to a world in which deadly but blind creatures hunt a post-apocalyptic world based only on sound.

The film had its world premiere in New York City and it was scheduled to be released in March 2020. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, they had to reschedule the releasing dates.

A Quiet Place, Part II has finally hit the theatres this weekend. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+ 45 days after its theatrical debut. It has already received positive reviews from critics, who praised the story and the suspense.  Moreover, a $340 million global box office collection from a budget of only $17 million was a tremendous achievement for Paramount.

Krasinski has managed to keep the emotional thread of the Abbott family throughout the sequel while expanding upon the universe of “A Quiet Place.” If you watch the first sequel you must know the Abbott family played by actress Emily Blunt, returns as Evelyn Abbott, alongside deaf teen actress Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott and a young English actor named Noah Jupe as Marcus Abbott.
