The Victim’s Voice: Falhad Hussein

The situation is due to the ongoing crisis displacement of the masses. Falhad Hussein, a street vendor, and a Somali mother explain her struggle. She had fled due to the draught situation from the town of Buulo Mareer in the Lower Shabelle region. She was having seven children out of which five are alive. The other two died due to the drought which made them unable to quench their thirst and hunger. They fled away from the locusts and the war situation and are presently residing in the IDP camps. They still require support.
