Wolf Alice has shared the latest visual song ‘Lipstick on the Glass’, which is her seventh video from her recent album, ‘Blue Weekend’.

The story of the video shows the band exiting a taxi and walking through an empty street. Vocalist Ellie Roswell is drawn to an elderly woman in a store’s shopfront, and the two lip-sync the song’s lyrics together.

The clip is the seventh ‘Blue Weekend’ video to be released by the band on this album and they kept it with four songs but did not release any visuals in media.

Jordan Hemingway directed all of the music videos. He is a London-based photographer and videographer who also worked for Gucci and Nike campaign sessions.
In a statement, the band explained the song when they released the ‘Blue Weekend’ trailer. They said, “Last winter, we began making a visual feast for your eyes.”

They also added, “We wanted to bring the music of Blue Weekend to life with this beautiful film. This was an amazing experience, and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”

The band had scored their first-ever UK number one, and ‘Blue Weekend’ made them the topper on the chart.
