A trendy hotel on Williamsburg’s Wythe Avenue with a Brooklyn aesthetic and enviable views of Manhattan’s skyline. The main pull will be the rooftop when it opens in Spring 2018, with a bar in a replica water tower and 40ft pool. The hotel is a soaring, cavernous lobby with miles of exposed brick, herringbone wood floors, a hearth fireplace, and velvet banquettes give the Williamsburg Hotel the feeling of an old factory that’s been made hospitable to those who want comfort with a bit of an edge. It all feels a bit contrived sometimes, but it’s also fun and not at all off-putting.
