‘Venom 2’ trailer: Woody Harrelson’s Carnage villain exposed

A new trailer for ‘Venom: Let There by Carnage’ has revealed key details of Woody Harrelson’s villain.

This upcoming American superhero film features the Marvel Comics character Venom. It is produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and Tencent Pictures. It is the second film in the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters and the sequel to Venom.

Carnage was introduced in a post-credits sequence at the end of the original Venom film. The new trailer now shows the origin of Carnage and also reveals what to expect from his destructive powers.

It also shows additional footage of fellow villain and Cletus’ love interest Shriek, played by Bond star Naomie Harris. Michelle Williams returns as Anne Weying, a district attorney and ex-fiancée to Eddie (Hardy). England actor Stephen Graham has also joined the cast.

The film is directed by Andy Serkis and screenplay by Kelly Marcel. The film is based on a story she wrote with Tom Hardy who stars as Eddie Brock. Some other stars of the film are kile Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Woody Harrelson.

‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ is scheduled to be theatrically released in the UK on September 15 and then in the US on September 24.
