IMMORTALS FENYX RISING
It certainly feels like Immortals Fenyx Rising is Ubisoft’s tackle Nintendo favorite, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Previously referred to as Gods and Monsters, this game from the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey devs, will pit you against the numerous Hellenic Gods and Monsters, err, monsters like Gorgons, Cyclopes, and Hydras as you’re taking on quests, explore dungeons, and solve fiendish puzzles. The game will be released in December this year.
CYBERPUNK 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset, and play style, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you. The game will be published this December.
THE MEDIUM
With the makers of Layers of Fear and Blair Witch Project behind it and an abandoned hotel resort as its setting, The Medium has psychological horror written all over it – it’s even being scored by Akira Yamaoka of Silent Hill fame. You play as a medium trying to solve the mystery of a child’s murder that’s been haunting you. Being a medium, you’re able to switch between reality and a supernatural world to investigate the tragedy. The game will be published this December.
BIOMUTANT
Biomutant came from just about nowhere, but the colorful and mysterious world revealed in its initial trailer has made us embrace it with open arms. So far, we’ve seen some typical RPG fare and character creation screens, but we do also know Biomutant includes a karma system and a spread of attractive worlds from arid deserts to snowy mountaintops. The game will be published this December.
