Tkay Maidza announces her first North American tour

Tkay Maidza has declared a North American tour in September. Although her last performance at Central Park in 2019 wasn’t a hit, she is confident to make her next performance a hit.

The 16-date trek finds The Adelaide rapper, now based in Los Angeles, opening for Emotional Oranges at select shows, with stops off in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Austin, Denver, and more. And this tour will be held from September to November. Where Maidza will perform two headline shows.

Maidzas’ Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3 EP will release On July 9. The project also includes the earlier album “Cashmere,” “Syrup,” and “Kim,” and also includes her partnership with Young Baby Tate. 

Maidza mentioned in a statement….

“Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3’ is the final chapter of the trilogy – I am so excited but it’s also bittersweet, this last chapter is about accepting what it is and stepping into that power, and really letting go of anything that’s hindering my path.”

“It feels like a life cycle and a lesson that’s come and gone quickly and I’m grateful for the people I’ve met on the way. I feel like I’ve really come to realize that I’ve always had what I needed, I just needed to see it clearly. And ‘Last Year Was Weird’ has helped me do that.”
