Tomorrowland

15 – 17 July

Sadly after missing the last two years because of the pandemic.  Back in true form this years Tomorrowland returns to the magnificent site in Boom, Belgium, and its a festival force to be reckoned with.  The flagship festival has sold out to an astonishing record 600,00 passes spread across three weekends. The mega festival features the elite in uber talented global DJS, 700 in total across a mammoth 14 stages including David Guetta, Tiësto, Eric Prydz, Amelie Lens, Martin Garrix, Diplo, Alesso, Sofi Tukker, Marshmello, DJ Diesel, Major Lazer Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren, mAmelie Lens, Adam Beyer, NERVO.  The line up is the, whose, who from the dance music industry, that will not disappoint.

Tomorrowland, simply put, is the biggest electronic dance music show on earth.  With the artist line up at the forefront for the festival goers ultimate festival experience, the intense attention to detail, Tomorrowland has been created as an unrivalled wonderland that keeps on mesmerizing the festival world like no other.  Anyone who has a ticket is truly blessed! FIB Benicassim Festival

14 -17 July

FIB is a Spanish Indie and alternative music festival, returning in the summer of 2022 to the charming coastal town of Benicassim, north of Valencia. The festival is all about the bands and a gateway music festival for diehard fans from around the globe. The attraction to the festival’s huge and diverse line-ups is the beautiful surroundings of the sun-drenched, sea setting. Its like attracting bees to the festival honey pot. This years line up is the perfect place for any avid festivalgoer who just likes to kick back, in the hot sun and sing along to their favourite band songs.   The music starts in the evenings so the days can be filled with topping up your tan or tasting the local sangria, sounds like my kind of heaven.  Some of the highlights on this years line up includes Kasabian, Justice, Two Door Cinema Club, Izal, Steve Aoki, The Kooks, Mando Diao, Tyga, Tom Walker, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill and many more.  The festival is so popular it has already sold out and its waiting list is filling up.  But not to give up on hope as tickets do become available.  To be honest if I could get my mitts on a ticket Id gladly hop on a plane this weekend to attend this hot potato of a festival.  It’s going to be the best!

Pitchfork Music Festival

15 – 17July

Union Park, Chicago

Organized by independently focused music source Pitchfork Media, this three-day event is a music genre melting pot of rock, hip-hop, electronica, jazz, punk, and any other genre and sub-genre. With a record fair, food, art, and beverages from local and national vendors, this truly is a cultural feast.

Music artists for the weekend include The Roots, Mitski, The National, Spiritualized, Japanese Breakfast, Toro y Moi, Parquet Courts, Lucy Dacus, Earl Sweatshirt, Tierra Whack, Low, Noname, Amber Mark, Magdalena Bay, BADBADNOTGOOD, Dawn Richard, Dry Cleaning, Cate Le Bon

What is more for those who are not able to make it state side Pitchfork have just announced that the festival will have live streamed sets from across the weekend presented by White Claw, DoorDash, and Philadelphia Cream Cheese with catch sets all weekend on Pitchfork.com, YouTube, and Twitter.

Doune the Rabbit Hole

14 – 17July

Doune the Rabbit Hole is an intimate, independent music & arts festival located amidst the glorious ancient oak trees of the Cardross Estate, near (Scotland’s ONLY) Lake of Menteith, in Stirlingshire.

Super Bock Super Rock

14 -16 July

Lisbon’s kingpin festival boasts seriously impressive headliners every year, though its worldwide profile remains a little lower than it rightfully deserves. SBSR is also an unbelievable excuse to go on a jolly to visit one of Europe’s most breathtaking cities in Portugal.  There is nothing better than attending festivals in the sun where the weather is guaranteed and you don’t need your wadders.  This years stellar line up features A$AP Rocky, Foals, C.
