One of the biggest EDM events is taking place in the heart of Birmingham this weekend for a sell out dancethon.  Flashback is one of Birmingham longest running dance music offerings and fastest ticket seller.  Today Flashback presents Inside Outside for a 12-hour marathon kicking royally off at 3pm.  There is nothing like a daytime to night party. Latitude Festival

21 – 24 July

Expect colourful sheep roaming the tuffty fields, opera on the lake, clowns under canvas, dance troupes and a huge children’s area.  The sell out family friendly festival is one that brings back a loyal crowd each year as it delivers on the full festival experience.  It receives royal reviews each year and is always listed as one of the top festivals to go to each festival season.  With this years line up too match its uniqueness which features Lewis Capaldi, Foals, Snow Patrol, Maggie Rogers, Little Simz, Manic Street Preachers, Modest Mouse, James Arthur, Example, Shed Seven and Groove Armada plus more. What’s more this years Latitude Festival is one that is sure to be overflowing with amazing memories and one that the promoters and festivalgoers are already looking forward to and anticipating the excitement for Latitude 23

Tramlines

22 – 24 July

Sheffield’s stellar festival takes centre stage this weekend for one mammoth 3 day festival showdown.  With its name that’s inspired by the cities former rail network, back in 2011 it received the award for the Best Metropolitan Festival at the annual festival awards.  Since the beginning of its inception back in 2009 the festival as grown building a reputation for the best inner city event of the summer.  As ever, Tramlines is ready for another fantastic year of music, comedy and cabaret at Hillsborough Park.  Friday line up includes Sam Fender, James, Declan McKenna, Shed Seven, and Bad Boy Chiller Crew.  Saturday headline acts features Kasabian, The Vaccines, Sigrid, Little Man Tate, Self Esteem, Inhaler, Sam Ryder and Sundays sequel has Madness, The Wombats, Becky Hill, Reverend and the Makers, Kelis, The Coral, Sports Team and Scouting for Girls plus many other amazing festival music artists across the 3 days.   I have just checked in with the promoters there are a few tickets still available so if you’re at a loose end this weekend this is one festival id highly recommend.

Tomorrowland

22 – 24 July

Spread across 3 weekends, Tomorrowland is, simply put, the biggest electronic music show on earth! With the massive line-up that’s been cherry-picked from an elite menu of DJs and standout music artists that all festivalgoers could wish for on there must see festival list. Gateways Festival

23 – 24 July

If you’re heading up north for the weekend check out Skipton Gateways Festival. The brand-new live music and film event is all about bringing the community together for this family festival.  Whilst small in stature this is one of those times when size doesn’t matter.  It is starting off small hoping to grow and develop each year. Festivalgoers will still experience all they could wish for with festival delights.   The line up isn’t about grandeur, what it does is   includes artists that will get the festival goers up on their feet getting ‘jiggy with it’ including Jake Bugg, The Charlatans, Cast, Ash, The Subways, The Sherlocks, Lucy Spraggan, Sleeper and more
