“Lupin” is returning for part 2 this summer.
• Netflix premiered the show on January 8, 2021, dropping the first five episodes. Each episode is 50 minutes long.
• The story is written by George Kay and François Uzan. It stars Sy, Ludivine Sagnier, Clotilde Hesme, and Vincent Londez.
• Lupin became the top 10 most viewed titles on Netflix just after it was released.
• The story follows Assane Diop who is a professional thief and the only son of a Senegalese immigrant who came to France to find a better life for his child.
• The series is based on the Arsène Lupin novels by Maurice Leblanc.
• The series is quite similar to Netflix’s other hit series “The Queen’s Gambit”.
• It is about playing games and winning games and always looking over their shoulder into their haunted past.
• The first part ended in the time when Assane & Claire were looking for their son Raoul during a Lupin celebration on the French coast. Raoul is kidnapped by one of Hubert Pellegrini’s henchmen.
• The series gained a top rank position in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Denmark, and Sweden, as well as Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa.
• Lupin, part two is set for another five episodes.
• Lupin part 2 will most likely center on Assane’s accountability issues. It may show Assane is trying to be a family man.
