The Grinch

Dr Seuss remakes always tend to be remembered as being sub-par or tend to land relatively into obscurity. This time everyone’s favourite Christmas hating grouch returns but this time with a much different voice.
Benedict Cumberbatch voices our title character this time and it seems to have a change of style, with the Grinch being much more present with the Who-vians this time around, much still much more passively aggressive evil with his antics.
Expect an interesting retelling of the classic story, but it seems we’ll have to wait to see if it has as much staying power and if Cumberbatch can bring a new dimension to the classic character that everyone already associates with Jim Carrey.
