St Martin-in-the-Fields Christmas Appeal!

St Martin-In-The-Fields Charity exists so that everyone has a place to call home. This winter St Martin’s launches its annual Christmas Appeal with BBC Radio 4, asking the public to donate and help those without a safe place to take the next step towards a new home, a more secure future and a more stable life.

Although the partnership between the BBC and St Martin’s is 95 years old, this year’s Appeal remains as vital and urgent as ever, with recent statistics showing over 200,000 households
in England were at risk of or experienced homelessness during 2020-21 in the wake of the pandemic – 10,000 more cases than the year before. St Martin’s Charity provides emergency grants to prevent someone from losing their home or help them find a new one, as well as bringing together frontline workers in homelessness and helping to fund The Connection which provides vital support through its day centre and accommodation for people as they recover from the experience of
homelessness.

To donate to the Christmas Appeal please visit smitfc.org.uk/ donate, call 0800 082 82 84 or send a cheque addressed to Freepost St Martin’s Christmas Appeal.
