Saturday Night Live has revealed the lineup for December which includes the names like Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and Timothée Chalamet. Puza Snigdha reports.
Jason Bateman is set to host the first show of December 5 and the guest will be Morgan Wallen. The star was supposed to perform in October but authorities pulled the name off after his video of breaking the pandemic protocols went viral. Wallen was replaced by Jack White.
“I’m not positive for COVID, but my actions this past weekend were pretty short-sighted and they have obviously affected my long-term goals and my dreams. I respect the show’s decision because I know I put them in jeopardy, and I take ownership for this,” Wallen said in a video.
Following the first show of December Timothée Chalamet will host an episode on 12th December that features Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. For the fourth time Bruce Springsteen is performing in this show. Bruce Springsteen released the latest album Letter to You, earlier this month.
On 19th December, Dua Lipa the recipient of six Grammy Award nominations, will hit the stage with her performance opposite host Kristen Wiig. She debuted in this show back in 2018.
Adele also hosted the show in October with her HER musical guest. During her opening monologue, Adele explained why she was portrayed as the host of the show, not a musical guest. In the show Adele joked about her weight lose.
