Rock Band KISS to Raise Funds for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

The legendary American rock band KISS were devastated when they heard news of the terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena last year and subsequently cancelled their concert at the same venue.
Now they are helping to raise funds for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit which were heavily involved in treating the injured children after the bomb went off in a crowd of Ariana Grande fans.
KISS have donated a prize of three of their personal guitar, each one signed by one of the members (Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and Tommy Thayer) and a snare drum with drum sticks signed by Eric Singer. The prize will also include VIP tickets to one of their sold out concerts and to the Kiss Kruise 2018.
The prize will be auctioned off at an event in aid of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital hosted by the Red Sea Pedestrians as a celebration of their tenth anniversary.
“We were devastated by the heinous attack in Manchester Arena and had to do something to support the city,” said Paul Stanley. ” Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital’s incredible work with children was never more evident than after this horrific event. We are humbled to be able to give something to support them in their ongoing efforts.”
“We’re delighted that KISS has donated this incredible prize to be auctioned at the RSP Charity Ball and want to thank them for their tremendous generosity,” said Chairman of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity’s fundraising board, Maurice Watkins CBE.
The Charity ball will take place on 17 March at the Lowry Hotel. If you would like to place a bid and help raise money for this amazing hospital you can get in touch with the charity team on 0161 701 1124.
