Richard Ashcroft has announced a massive UK tour next spring to support his album ‘Natural Rebel’ , which is due out on October 19.
Richard Ashcroft is one of the best lyricists of our era. The former Verve frontman has just announced he’ll be releasing a new album, Natural Rebel, on 19 October 2018.
He has shows in cities including Portsmouth, Leicester, London, Edinburgh, Hull and Birmingham between April 19 and May 5 where he’ll play the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Tickets for these dates are already on sale.
He shared his one ambition that he wants to see himself ‘the biggest solo artist in my country’, so this tour mayb the first step in his drive.
“A division of opinion that big suggests that if its maker is serious about being the king of the hill, he’d better get some sturdier climbing boots”.
The new album features 10 new songs, all of which Ashcroft wrote, and represents the latest chapter in the Ivor Novello winner’s hugely successful solo career.
Fans can book for the April dates from this Friday.
