Heavy machinery proved ineffective in clearing the blockage, and time was running out for the trapped workers.

Facing dwindling options, rescuers turned to a group of experienced rat miners. They known for their expertise in navigating cramped and hazardous underground spaces. These miners, often marginalized and overlooked, possessed the skills and determination needed to undertake the perilous task of reaching the trapped workers.
