Norwegian DJ Buys Coachella Billboards For Ukraine Funds

Coachella festival celebrating its second weekend in Indio, California. Matoma, a Norwegian DJ bought a number of billboards to support Ukrainian relief. The roadway to Coachella has been put up the billboards to raise awareness for the Ukraine relief effort. Norwegian DJ, Matoma tried to raise up funds in collaboration with the Music Saves UA charity.

The billboards feature the blue and yellow Ukraine flag. The awareness-raising happens by using the slogan ‘DROP BEATS NOT BOMBS’. DJ Matoma recalls Ukraine’s old days on his Instagram. Where he remembers the festival called Atlas Weekend was full of beautiful Ukrainian crowds like the Coachella festival.

Atlas Festival already changed its nightclubs into a humanitarian centre for helping those who are in need of help. Ukraine is suffering from a war disaster and their freedom is snatched from them. The city lost its beauty and harshly bombs rained down here and there into the cities.

The power of music is unexplainable that is how music spread the love for humanitarian. Atlas Festival converted its nightclubs for inspiration and hope. They actively working well and have a greater purpose to support the Ukraine folks. It shows how music spread love as well as hope to humanity.

From all over the world music and entertainment showed their support and love for Ukraine in a recent week at the Coachella festival. Figures from the world’s entertainment and music condolences for Ukrainian people. Miley Cyrus showed her condolence by urging ‘an immediate end to this violence ‘. Singer Elton John admits he feels pain whenever thinking about the nightmare of Ukrainian civilians and it makes him ‘heartbroken’.

In Weekend 2 of Coachella 2022, Girl In Red with a Norwegian Grammy represented by Billie Eilish and Baby Keem was joined by Kendrick Lamar. Performances scheduled in Russia and Ukraine got canceled for the war situation, like- Iggy Pop, My Chemical Romance, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Franz Ferdinand and Green Day.

Music is a great form of spreading happiness, emotion, love, sorrow and now it’s being used for humanitarian. Mankind could be benefited from music and musicians and Norwegian DJ’s billboard buying to support Ukrainian relief took it an upper step. Choose love over war and go for the slogan

‘DROP BEATS NOT BOMBS’
