Netflix Renewing Season 2 of “The End of the F***ing World”

Netflix Confirmed the second season of the Super-hit Dark Comedy “The End of the F***ing World” which already earned the barnstorming success by earning the tag of ‘most-watched’ series ever on the broadcaster’s video-on-demand platform, is going to air in Channel 4.
This dark comedy focusing on two teenager who run away from home to find a meaning of living to explore the difficulties of the world of absurdity, has already received much critical acclaim and has proved be a huge success, which could prompt the British broadcaster and Netflix to renew it.
“We’ll be f***ing back”, the official TEOTFW Twitter account wrote on 22nd August, along with the final scene from the last movie and a clip which read, “The End of the F***ing World will be f***ing back for season two”.
Creator Charlie Covell has been retained to write the second season, which will continue to be adapted from Charles Forsman’s comic series of the same name where Covell, Murray Ferguson, Ed Macdonald, Andy Baker, Dominic Buchanan, and Jonathan Entwistle will serve as executive producers.
“We’re so proud that this global success story began at Channel 4 and that a second series is on its way,” said Beth Willis, Channel 4’s head of drama. “Charlie’s witty, wonderful world is back, and we can’t wait to see where she takes it next.”
Having started shooting in April 2017, the first season premiered on Channel 4 on October 24, 2017, with the whole season being released on All4 after the first episode aired, before it arrived on Netflix on January 5, 2018.
Since the show has only just got the green light for season 2, it’s likely to be out on Channel 4 in 2019 in Britain.
