In his first solo material of 2020, J. Cole has addressed ‘Black Lives Matter’ with the surprise new single ‘Snow On Tha Bluff’. Tara Pilkington reports.
In the new single, he addresses a range of topical subjects such as capitalism, social media, police and celebrities. Throughout the song, J. Cole also alludes to his own feelings of inadequacy surrounding activism.
Following the release of the track, J. Cole has said on Twitter that he stands behind “every word of the song that dropped last night.”
