The purpose of this UK-wide festival is to attract more visitors into museums, galleries and heritage sites and also in many of the historic houses, different landmarks and libraries anywhere in the UK.
The main purpose of the festival is to promote and increase the importance of Britain’s cultural heritage, traditions and history. This year it will be from 16 to 19 May.
Many London museums and galleries organise special events with talks, dance performances, workshops, films, DJs, food & drink, circus acts, magic shows, debates, film screenings and more.
