The American rock band Modest Mouse’s who has been performing till 1992, has just shared their second single on 2021, ‘Leave a Light On’, from their upcoming album. The Golden Casket is set for release on June 25th via Epic Records.
Modest Mouse’s member’s frontman Isaac Brock and drummer Jeremiah Green co-wrote ‘Leave a Light On’. Multi-instrumentalist Russell Higbee and percussionist Ben Massarella are also involved with this album. They have worked as brand members of Modest Mouse since 2012 and 2014.
‘Leave a Light On’ marks the second track from The Golden Casket. After following 2015’s ‘Strangers to Ourselves, it is Modest Mouse’s first album in six years.
Along with dropping ‘Leave a Light On’, Modest Mouse announced a two-legged North American tour from late July through to October. The first will start with a set at Lollapalooza, which is taking place from July 29th through August 1st in Chicago, and wrap up on August 29th at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon. A second leg will launch on September 11th at Marymoor Park in Seattle and wrap up on October 22nd at Rabbit Rabbit in Asheville, North Carolina.
