Mel B Confirms The Spice Girls are Gearing up for Reunion Tour

Mel B a.k.a. Scary Spice sat down with Hoda Kotb on Wednesday’s episode of the Today show and disclose the long-awaited and oft-rumored Spice Girl reunion which officially got confirmation from an actual Spice Girl this week.
The Spice Girls are indisputably one of the greatest girl groups from their countless bops to their iconic fashion trends, Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Posh Spice were names that hold a special, spicy spot in every ’90s girl’s heart.
“I still do love performing. I’m the only one that keeps on saying, ‘We’re gonna be performing,’ which we are gonna be performing,” the singer, whose full name is Melanie Brown, told Hoda Kotb on the “Today” show Wednesday, “finally they got it together”.
This statement is at odds with former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham’s recent insistence to Vogue that she is not going on tour.
Regarding the confusion former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham’s not being in the tour, Mel B said, “She’s always bloody saying that…Yes, we are going to be doing performances together, for sure”.
The gossip site announced that Mel “Scary Spice” Brown, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell, Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton and Melanie “Sporty Spice” Chisholm caught up with their former manager, Simon Fuller, to discuss plans for a possible “world” tour.
Back in February, Mel B implied that the group would be reuniting at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding but didn’t end up performing, and Mel C later revealed on an Australian radio show that the ladies hadn’t actually been asked to perform.
“We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the amazing times we spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls,” read in a statement put out by the band.
