Meek Mill Performs for First Time Since Release

Rapper Meek Mill made his return to the stage this weekend in a surprise appearance at Miami’s Rolling Loud Festival.
The rapper was released from prison last month after being charged with violating his probation in 2017. The probation related to a guns and drug charge back in 2007. The courts faced criticism for the probation sentence, and the Supreme Court finally overruled the decision.
The rapper seems ready to move forward, as he announced that he and rapper Drake have decided to move past their beef.
To the crowd on Saturday, the rapper said: “It feels good to be back and free in front of the motherfucking people. Thank you to everybody that supported me. They tried to take my freedom. They tried to crush my dreams. But now we’re in Miami glowing the fuck up. Let’s get it!”
Mills’ performance included “Dreams and Nightmares”, “Issues”, and “On the Regular”.
