Police in search of Scott Hutchison, the Frightened Rabbit singer who went missing in the early hours of Wednesday, have found a body of a man near South Queensferry, it has been announced.
This news came to light when the discovery was made at approximately 20:30 on Thursday in the location of Port Edgar.
Mr Hutchison’s family have been informed, although formal identification is yet to occur.
Scott, who was 36 years of age, was reported missing on Wednesday and the last sighting of the star was on CCTV footage, which was captured shortly after he visited the nearby Dakota Hotel.
Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon tweeted about the incident: “Heartbreaking news. My thoughts are with Scott’s family, friends and fans. A remarkable and much loved talent.”
Scott will be remembered fondly for his musical talent and the impact he made on many – that includes his fans, friends and loved ones.
