Gang Gang Dance – Kazuashita

After a seven year absence Gang Gang Dance are back, and with a re-imagined line up that would have brought hope to their fans. The electro experimentalists have at least steered clear of the all out weirdness for the sake of it on “Kazuashita”. The problem is that they’ve also avoided writing much that will keep you awake. Those old enough to remember “Tubular Bells” will see similarities in the thinking behind this album. Unfortunately, the execution is considerably less well done. Unless you are specifically into avant garde electronica, this will do no more than bore you. For fans of the marque, this will simply disappopint.
