Logan Paul blames ‘sneezing’ for his boxing defeat to KSI

By George Biggs
Logan Paul was defeated by KSI, but blames his health on the defeat.
On the 10th of November KSI won his rematch against Logan Paul by points. Thousands of people tuned into the six rounds of boxing, which saw both fighters walking away with $900,000. KSI took home the ‘coveted’ YouTube Champion belt (a tacky, red and gold belt that means nothing, really).
The defeated Logan Paul spoke to BBC Sports and revealed that “my game plan kind of went out the window… Can you hear my voice right now? I’m sick – nasally. I woke up sick… [It took] probably, 30 to 50 per cent out of me.”
This, combined with dubious decisions by referee Jack Reese, has Logan and his supporters to believe that his loss was unfairly unavoidable.
Logan said, without a hint of humour: “I’ve been sneezing all day.”
In the immediate aftermath, the Youtuber millionaire hinted to the other Youtuber millionaire that there could be a rematch. KSI just laughed – a resounding ‘no’ from him, then. He’s done what he said he’d do – defeat Logan – and it’s time to move on.
Though Logan looked pitiful (and apparently felt pitiful), he’ll recover. His boxing career isn’t over because it never really existed. For the most part, he’s followed and watched by his fans, not boxing fans (no matter how many industry professionals pile in on the event).
It’s hard to feel bad for Logan Paul. He doesn’t get a “bless you” from me.
