Big Me is a dressing-up day with a difference. By donating £1 to ActionAid to dress up as their dream job, schoolchildren can have fun and dream big while helping girls around the world create the future they want.
Ask your local school to get involved, and when they sign up ActionAid will send a free pack of ready-to-use resources to help their Big Me be a big success. The pack includes posters, stickers and fundraising ideas, as well as exclusive access to online teaching resources.
This year’s Big Me week is 8-12 October 2018. By hosting a Big Me day during this week, they’ll be joining hundreds of schools across the UK, raising aspirations – and money – to change girls’ lives with ActionAid.
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good. We won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.
