Featuring more than 100 events, including over 50 debates and talks alongside 30 musicians and performers, comedy, workshops, documentaries, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival ‘HowTheLightGetsIn’ will take place from 22 September to 23 September in the spectacular gardens of Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath.
Pitting speakers from different backgrounds and disciplines against each other, HowTheLightGetsIn announces its Arts Programme, with more than 50 unique debates and talks brought to life by the world’s leading thinkers.
Offering a fantastic ARTS line-up, including Banksy’s former agent Steve Lazarides debates elitism in the arts with Turner Prize winning architect Paloma Strelitz, Man Booker Prize nominated novelist Deborah Levy delves into the supernatural, the festival is offering world’s largest philosophy debates.
The festival has also announced urban art dealer and the manager who launched Banksy’s career, Steve Lazarides. Recognized as being one of the first people to help popularize street art, Steve who joins Turner Prize winning architect Paloma Strelitz to challenge film producerColin MacCabe.
The festival will also feature London based rapper and activist Lowkey who get to meet former Poet Laureate Andrew Motion to explore creativity and constraint. Bella dePaulo will take on romance novelist Heidi Rice about the dangers of romance narratives and the benefits of single life.
