Help Rohingya refugees

Since the outbreak of violence in August 2017, over 700,000 Rohingya people have fled Myanmar to seek safety in camps like Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh.
ActionAid are on the ground providing life-saving humanitarian support in Bangladesh, delivering food, safe drinking water, shelter and sanitary protection for women and girls. So far they have reached 70,000 Rohingya refugees, but thousands more women and girls remain in desperate need.
As well as providing life-saving aid, they are helping to improve the camp so it is more resilient to floods and mudslides in the dangerous monsoon season. And they are training women in skills like sewing, empowering them to build livelihoods for their families in the future.
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Their dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good. ActionAid won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.
A regular gift from you will help support women and girls affected by poverty, conflict and violence in countries all over the world. Visit: actionaid.org.uk/rohingya-crisis
