Game Review- Left 4 Dead 2

Rumour has it that the old-time favorite Valve game, Left 4 Dead 2 is getting an update, so what’s better than to appreciate the game creation then talking about it… Lauren Townsend reports.

Left 4 Dead 2 is one of the two-game series which allows players to play as one of four characters in numerous locations that are connected back to back. In this game, you get to play as either Coach, who is a football coach with a bad knee, Ellis, a friendly mechanic, Nick, a cold gambler and con artist, or Rochelle, a low-level production assistant reporting on the evacuation. Each character has their own quirky lines and their own individual personality.

This is a single-player and multiplayer game and is perfect to play with friends. You can play the campaign, versus, scavenge, or survival with friends. In Versus and Scavenge, you can have the opportunity to play as the infected and can choose to be one of the special infected characters such as being a boomer, spitter and so much more.

For a game that was released in 2009, the graphics are spectacular and are detailed. Each scenery being created and presented as if looking at it in person. From the grains of grass to flashing lights in the distance to the radios in vehicles, each detail presented to a T.

The gameplay itself is so fun and is very interesting as you learn about each individual character whilst playing as well as learning about what happened in the apocalyptic world.

This game is one of the few which were rated 10/10 on Steam and proving that this is a truly amazing creation from Valve and a lifelong favorite for many.

Unfortunately, this game does contain a lot of graphic violence and scenes that are not suitable for children, therefore only suitable for those aged 18 and above.

If you get the chance to play it, you will enjoy this treasure and endless fun. However, be careful of the witch!
