My name is Sheridan and I am a coffee addict. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem & I do! I drink around 6 cups of coffee per day, sometimes more if I’m stuck in meetings or just having a sluggish day, so when I was introduced to FLYTE, I was intrigued. Caffeine without the calories? All natural? No added sugar? WHAT IS THIS SOURCERY OF WHICH YOU SPEAK?!
Well, turns out – the drinks live up to the hype! Here’s how my day went:
7:30am –This is where I always have my morning coffee, which is made with Oatly Barista milk, 2 sugars & 2 heaped tea spoons of coffee.
I’m prepared to cut down but not cut out the morning cup of Jo!
9:30am – I had another coffee, this time no sugar (it was hell) but the office had ran out and I had to attend a meeting. I must admit, I was in a rush and forgot about the clean energy drinks waiting for me on my desk!
11am – This is usually where I have my 3rd coffee of the day but the matte black glass bottles were staring at me. I started with the Red Berries flavour.
This was very berry indeed! It was the right balance of sweet, sour and fizz. Lovely!
2pm – I’ve usually had at least another two coffees by now but I was still buzzing from the first energy drink! I still had one more to try, so I cracked open the Green Mango flavour.
This was an interesting flavour – it reminded me of a sweet fizzy green tea!
4pm – I was still absolutely buzzing from these drinks – I noticed I had a lot more work done that usual and I didn’t feel sluggish or like I was going to come crashing down from my caffeine high.
All in all, they do exactly what they say on the bottle – they are an acquired taste and if you love your flavoured tea, you’re going to love these!
For an addict who would be the first in line for a coffee IV, these were amazing.
