Five Ways to Well-being

Mental wellbeing with sound health is the most important thing in our life. Every day we are busy with our daily life but sometimes we suffer from sickness or mental pressure. Here are some basic tips for mental wellbeing.
1. Healthy relationship: Research shows that good relationships with family, friends, colleagues and the wider community are important for mental wellbeing. When our relationship is not good it affects our mind. We should value every person in our life, give time, try to understand your family members and friends. A healthy relationship is a key to mental peace. Talk to someone instead of sending an email, Put five minutes aside to ask others how they are.
2. Be active physically: Exercise keeps the mind fresh. Regular physical activity is associated with lower rates of depression and anxiety across all age groups. It’s not essential to join the gym but one can change the lifestyle. Such as, take the stairs, not the lift, can take a walk at lunchtime, walk to colleague’s desk instead of calling or emailing, get off the bus one stop earlier than usual and walk the final part of your journey to work.
3. Keep learning new things: Try something new. Start practicing old hobbies again. Sign up for that course. Take on a different responsibility at work. Learn to play an instrument or how to cook your favorite food. Learning new things will increase your confidence.
4. Be kind to others: Kindness can help improve your mental condition because it will give you positive feelings, will give you purpose and self-worth, it will also help to build your relationship good to others.
5. Take notice: Studies have shown that being aware of what is taking place in the present directly enhances your well-being and savoring ‘the moment’ can help to reaffirm your life priorities. Taking Notice is also called Mindfulness. Be aware of the world around you and what you are feeling. Reflecting on your experiences will help you appreciate what matters to you.
