Singer Ed Sheeran has hinted the biggest secret about the secret marriage with his long-time sweetheart Cherry Seaborn in a recent interview.
The doubt grown stronger when the singer has been wearing a silver band on his ring finger since he and fiancee Cherry Seaborn got engaged over the festive season.
In a interview with ‘Access’, Sheeran has now been quizzed on his wedding plans and while asked whether the couple had picked a date or not, the star blushed and lifted his left hand to show a silver band on his ring finger.
The interviewer congratulated him and called the news “exciting” and with a smile holding in face, Ed said that he “never really does anything too public anyway” when asked how he managed to “sneak that one”.
The musician announced his engagement to Cherry Seaborn on Instagram in January. “Got myself a fiancé just before new year,” he wrote. “We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx”.
The couple met in school and got together in 2015. Cherry is a hockey player and has played for England’s Under 21 team, helping them earn a bronze medal in the European Championships.
In another interview with Entertainment Tonight this week, Sheeran also hinted that a wedding had already taken place.
“I don’t like large groups of people at the best of times,” he revealed. “I never wanted a wedding that was lots of people”.
