Dolittle is an upcoming American fantasy adventure comedy film which is set to release on January 17. The screenplay is done by Gaghan and John Whittington and a story written by Thomas Shepherd. The film story is focused on the character Doctor Dolittle.
The film shows that Dr. John Dolittle who is famed and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England has lost his wife seven years earlier and discovers that he can talk to animals. The young queen falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, regaining his wit and courage as he crosses old adversaries and discovers wondrous creatures. The doctor is joined on his quest by a young, self-appointed apprentice and a raucous coterie of animal friends, including an anxious gorilla an enthusiastic but bird-brained duck. The film continues like this.
