Dimensions Festival

Taking place in lovely Fort Punta, Croatia, Dimensions Festival boasts a reputation for quality electronic music line-ups, and has just added more artists to their 2018 edition.
Thousands of people will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Croatian seaside, boat parties and all-night long raving with a mix of music genres, including electro, house, techno, jazz, soul, leftfield, bass and DnBexplorations.
In addition to Kraftwerk, Hunee, Jon Hopkins, Nina Kraviz, MXMJOY:[maximumjoy] who have already been announced, more names will be performing at the festival including Nils Frahm, John Talabot, Margaret Dygas, Maurice Fulton, Jlin, Kid Drama, MC Fokus, Gigi Masin, SPMC, Alix Perez, Kuiyuki (live), Josh Cheon (Dark Entries), Avalon Emerson, rRoxymore and Steve Spacek.
Kraftwerk, a gamechanger in electro music, will play at the opening concert, along with Nils Frahm, an avant-garde composer who combines classical and electronic to deliver a unique discography. Mixing a grand piano, upright piano, Roland Juno-60 and Rhodes piano with drum machines, Nils’ creations will properly kickstart the festival at the Pula Amphitheatre. As for the main events, techno fans won’t be disappointed, with names such as Margaret Dygas and genre vanguard rRoxymore performing. Acclaimed artist Avalon Emerson will fuse techno, breaks and electro in a mind-altering set, while UIQ boss Lee Gamble will deliver his classic dark oddball techno. London Modular Alliance will play live with a tech-heavy live which is sure to impress.
House heads also have a lot to offer, with artists like Maurice Fulton, We Play House boss Red G, label affiliate San Soda and Just Nathan set to perform. John Talabot will deliver a set of his revered disco tinged anthems. Josh Cheon from Dark Entries will perform, as well as Kuniyuki, one of Japan’s best kept secrets, and Singaporean Darker Than Wax label crew, who will join with RAH, Funk Bast*rd & Marco Weibel, all known for breaking musical boundaries.
Among the other artists who will be joining are Fatima, queen of Eglo Records, Steve Spacek, the UK’s very own futuristic soul legend, and Poppy Ajudha, young artists who skilfully twists soul and jazz into something unique. For more information and the full line-up, visit dimensionsfestival.com.
