Celebrities Pay Tributes to Hollywood Star Burt Reynolds Death

Following the horribly sad news that Hollywood actor Burt Reynolds’s death on Thursday, aging 82, in Jupiter, Florida, celebrities are taking to social media to pay tribute to the legendary actor.
Stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger quickly took to social media to pay tribute to Reynolds, who rose to fame with a series of box office hits in the 1970s.
The actor, who starred in such films as “Deliverance,” “Smokey and the Bandit” and “Boogie Nights,” died of a cardiac arrest.
“Burt Reynolds was one of my heroes. He was a trailblazer. He showed the way to transition from being an athlete to being the highest paid actor, and he always inspired me,” Schwarzenegger wrote.
“My good friend has started a new journey. Rest in my peace my friend. I’ll never forget the wonderful times we spent together. #BurtReynolds”, wrote Reba McEntire, who worked with Reynolds in the 1993 TV movie The Man From Left Field.
“There are times in your life that are so indelible, they never fade away. They stay alive, even forty years later. My years with Burt never leave my mind,” said actress Sally Field, whom Reynolds once called “the love of my life.” “He will be in my history and my heart, for as long as I live. Rest, Buddy”.
Mark Wahlberg also paid tribute to his former Boogie Nights co-star on Instagram, sharing a picture of the two from the film. “Rest in peace to a legend and a friend”.
Legendary singer Dolly Parton posted a moving tribute to Reynolds on Twitter, featuring a photo of the pair from when they co-starred in “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”.
Reynolds, who famously turned down the roles of James Bond and Han Solo, nevertheless forged a film career that marked him out as a singular talent.
The star had undergone a quintuple heart bypass in February 2010 but had been working until recently; he was filming Quentin Tarantino’s movie about the Charles Manson murders, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.
