Penn Badgley, who portrays the eponymous role of Joe Goldberg in the Netflix series You, opened up about his relationship with social media and how much he admires those who naturally gravitate towards it at a recently-resurfaced 2019 panel promoting the first season of You.
Badgley confesses that he feels awkward on social media and admires celebs and influencers like Cardi B who have a genuine relationship with their fans.
And he mentioned “Cardi B is a great example of that. She has such an authentic relationship. To me, it is this incredibly nuanced place to be. Despite what many might judge as antics and all this, I feel like she has an incredible relationship… and that’s why people like her so much.”
Cardi responded by retweeting the video “OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME !!! OMMMGGGG!!!!!!Yoooo like I’m famous famous.”
