Beyoncé has shared the new trailer for her upcoming album ‘Black Is King’ in 19th July which is set to drop on 31st July. Puza Snigdha reports.
The upcoming visual album is inspired by ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ soundtrack, which was a remake of the hit Disney film soundtrack by Beyoncé. The project is written, directed, and executive-produced by Beyonce herself, and it will be released via Disney+.
The two minutes long new trailer features the appearance of JAY-Z, Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and more.
“You were formed by the heat of the galaxy. What a thing to be, both unique and familiar. To be one and the same, and still unlike any other,” Beyoncé said in a voiceover in the trailer.

At the end of the trailer, Beyoncé added a snippet of her latest single “BLACK PARADE.”
On her Instagram, she wrote: “I hope we continue to share joy and celebrate each other, even in the midst of struggle. Please continue to remember our beauty, strength and power. ‘BLACK PARADE’ celebrates you, your voice and your joy and will benefit Black-owned small businesses,”
The movie will also feature Pharrell Williams, Lupita Nyong’o, and others. The shooting of will be across Africa in countries including, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Namibia, Cameroon, Liberia, Burundi, Senegal, Somalia, Benin, Congo, Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and more.
